Choose my US Open DFS Picks for this weekend hasn’t been easy. The reason is that we’ll see one of the toughest majors on The PGA Tour as The US Open makes its way to Torrey Pines in San Diego, California. This is probably the toughest major of them all, considering this tournament usually gets placed at a challenging location. Also, don’t forget to check our daily fantasy sports sites page for the latest DFS special offers on the US Open.
So without further ado, here are my top US Open DFS picks that are set to win big!
US Open DFS Picks Across PrizePicks and DraftKings
Jon Rahm (PrizePicks Projected Score | 72.5 – Bet The Over )
(DraftKings Price: $11,200 | To Win: +1050)
Rahm tops my US Open DFS picks for this weekend. As the poster child for motivation, Rahm will look to do some serious damage after last week’s utter embarrassment of a decision at the Memorial Tournament. With a six-shot lead during Round 3, he was forced to withdraw after testing positive for COVID-19. Like, really… who the hell does the testing to where you find this out DURING a tournament? Nevertheless, Rahm will have the full support of the crowd and that could mean something throughout. It also helps that he’s in peak form with eight Top-10 finishes this year and so taking over 72.5 points at PrizePicks makes sense.
Patrick Reed (PrizePicks Projected Score | 73 – Bet The Over )
(DraftKings Price: $9,000 | To Win: +2500)
I’ll always take a chance on Reed at this tournament because it feels like his game is tailored for these tougher courses. In fact, he has finished no worse than 14th in four of his last trips to The US Open – that includes and a fourth-place finish in 2018. Reed is coming off a fifth-place finish in his last appearance two weeks ago at the Memorial Tournament. In addition, he had a T-6 last month at the Wells Fargo Championship. Surprisingly, Reed’s fantasy projection is higher than Jon Rahm’s, but he’s worth taking a chance here. In fact, sign up to PrizePicks to double your bankroll and take both Rahm and Reed!
Garrick Higgo (DraftKings Price: $7,300 | To Win: +7500)
The South African is popping up as a popular choice this weekend and he caps off our top US Open DFS picks. After all, he won last week at The Palmetto Championship and does have a wide collection of wins and Top-10 finishes on the European Tour. At Torrey Pines, it’s all about keeping the ball in the middle of the fairway and avoiding the thick and lustrous patches of rough. It’s incredibly difficult to win two weeks in a row, but I feel like he’s got a great chance to do the unthinkable.
