Tuesday’s doubleheader of NBA Playoffs matchups is sure to be another good one. TNT will be carrying both games, featuring the Atlanta Hawks at Philadelphia 76ers & Los Angeles Clippers at Utah Jazz. The Hawks lead their series 1-0 while the Clippers-Jazz series gets underway tonight.

It seems too easy for the 76ers to just take this game and roll with it, after losing the series opener. Sunday’s Game 1 loss wasn’t that close until the final minutes and Philly started applying all-out pressure to Atlanta. During the regular season, the 76ers did take two of the three meetings.
The Hawks already did their job by going into Philly and winning one of the games. We saw a similar situation from them in Game 2 of that last series against the Knicks; ATL would hold a 12-point halftime lead before getting blown out in the second half.
Philly is a very talented team, hence the best record in the East during the regular season. I would expect this bunch to put out a spirited effort in front of what will be a rawkus crowd.

I’m really looking forward to this series, much in part to the fact that I have no idea what we’ll see. Both teams are fantastic, but this series will go a long way in determining how we view certain players’ careers.
I’m a firm believer in momentum, which the Clippers have right now after winning Game 6 on the road in Dallas and Game 7 at home in their last series. That last game was just on Sunday while the Jazz haven’t played a game in six days. Of course, you can look at rest being a large factor; Utah was 10-4 SU (8-6 ATS) when playing on 2+ days of rest.
The Jazz are getting about two-thirds of bets and public money on their side. I’ll be more than happy to go against the crowd on this game.
