Tuesday’s three-game NBA Playoffs slate is sure to be another good one. TNT will have a doubleheader of games (Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets & Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix) while NBA TV has the Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Clippers.
Last night, I went 0-2 to bring my NBA Playoffs record to 3-6 ATS after a 57% regular season. Here are two more free NBA betting picks to get things back on track.

- Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets (-9.5) – Total: 227
- Los Angeles Lakers (-1.5) at Phoenix Suns – Total: 208
Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets (-9.5) – Total: 227
If it weren’t for Robert Williams, the Celtics would have lost Game 1 by 20 points. I will keep this analysis short and sweet, but I don’t see the Celtics standing a chance again.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were the scoring leaders in the series opener, but James Harden certainly wants to get in the mix now as well. As I mentioned earlier with Williams, he was the Celtics’ everything in Game 1. Despite the cushy win, his nine blocks made Brooklyn’s night a little more difficult. After an extra day to prepare, I trust that Steve Nash and the Nets coaching staff came up with a remedy for Williams not getting anywhere near as many blocks.
Betting Pick: Nets (-9.5)
Los Angeles Lakers (-1.5) at Phoenix Suns – Total: 208
I, unlike most, am unimpressed by what the Lakers bring to the table in this series. The Suns were the second-best team during the regular season, only qualifying as an underdog four times at home during the regular season (2-2 ATS). In those four instances, Phoenix lost the first two games but did win the last two outright. It’s worth mentioning the Suns were 8-4 ATS as an underdog this season while the Lakers were 24-27-1 ATS as a favorite.
There is no way in hell that I’m backing down from my pro-Suns stance. In fact, their +0.8 IRT increase is the highest for any team on tonight’s slate. Chris Paul, Devin Booker & Co. will take care of business and send Phoenix to LA with a 2-0 lead.
Betting Pick: Suns (+1.5)
