Tuesday’s six-game NBA slate is sure to be yet another good one. The national-TV doubleheader is a little different tonight, with the NBA TV showing the Milwaukee Bucks at Charlotte Hornets and TNT showing the Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors.
Last night, I went a perfect 3-0 to bring my season-long record to 107-70-2 ATS (60.5%). Here are three more free NBA picks to keep things trending upward.
Table of contents
- Portland Trail Blazers (-4.5) at Indiana Pacers – Total: 239
- Milwaukee Bucks (-9) at Charlotte Hornets – Total: 224
- Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors (-2.5) – Total: 224.5
Portland Trail Blazers (-4.5) at Indiana Pacers – Total: 239
POR: normal rest, front-end b2b (@MEM tomorrow)
IND: 3 games in 4 days
Damian Lillard & Co. should have quite the offensive output tonight. Even though the team has lost five straight, this matchup against the Pacers is one that they should dominate. Portland has dealt with a few injuries here and there, and now finds itself with a healthy roster.
I’m not sure what it is about Indy, but this is an absolutely garbage team at home, going 8-20 ATS there and 2-7 ATS as a home favorite. Speaking of injuries earlier, Domantas Sabonis has been ruled out while Jeremy Lamb is questionable.
Betting Pick: Trail Blazers (-4.5)
Milwaukee Bucks (-9) at Charlotte Hornets – Total: 224
MIL: 3 games in 4 days, 4 in 6
CHA: 4 games in 6 days, front-end b2b (@BOS tomorrow)
I kind of feel like I’m taking the easy bait here with the Hornets, but there is sound evidence to back it up. Charlotte has won each of the first two meetings against Milwaukee this season, and it has even covered the spread in each of the last four. I certainly don’t think the Hornets will have enough talent to win outright tonight, but nine points is a lot to cover for a Bucks team that is 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games. Not to mention, Milwaukee is 12-18 ATS on the road and 12-16 ATS as a road favorite.
Betting Pick: Hornets (+9)
Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors (-2.5) – Total: 224.5
DAL: back-end b2b (@SAC yesterday), 3 games in 4 days, 4 in 6, 5 in 7
GS: normal rest
Admittedly, I haven’t taken the Warriors much at all this season. However, tonight is a good opportunity for them to make some noise against a Mavericks team that could be rolling in short-handed. As of noon eastern time, Dallas has already listed Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and Josh Richardson questionable in San Francisco tonight. The Mavs could very well be resting them tonight, considering it will be their second game in as many nights. In addition to that, it’ll be their fifth game in seven days. Stephen Curry might be able to outscore the opposition all by himself if all of those Mavs do sit out.
Betting Pick: Warriors (-2.5)
