Friday’s seven-game NBA slate takes us into the weekend in style. ESPN will carry the national-TV doubleheader, featuring the Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets & Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors.
Last night, I went 1-2 to drop my season-long record to 102-69-2 ATS (59.7%). Here are three more free NBA picks to get things back in the right direction.
Los Angeles Clippers (-10.5) at Houston Rockets – Total: 221
The Rockets have been absolutely brutal at home, going 6-23 ATS and 4-16 ATS as a home underdog. This has consistently been one of the worst teams in general, so attacking them comes with great confidence. The Clippers are 16-12-1 ATS on the road and 13-10-1 ATS as a road favorite. It’s a large spread, but it’s that big for a reason.
Betting Pick: Clippers (-10.5)
Washington Wizards (-9.5) at Oklahoma City Thunder – Total: 230
OKC has been absolutely brutal of late, going 3-9 ATS in the last 12 games. This is a team just playing out the string, waiting for the draft to come around and reevaluate things. On the other hand, the Wizards have been quite strong, going 5-1 ATS over their last six. It’s another big-numbered spread, but we’re here for a reason.
Betting Pick: Wizards (-9.5)
Memphis Grizzlies at Portland Trail Blazers (-3.5) – Total: 232.5
This should be a fun game between the two teams with a lot of offensive firepower. In recent games, both teams are putting up tons of points. This will be another classic matchup between the Western Conference rivals.
Betting Pick: Over 232.5 points
