Friday’s 10-game NBA slate takes us right into the weekend. The national-TV doubleheader will be handled by NBA TV, featuring the Dallas Mavericks at New York Knicks & Milwaukee Bucks at Portland Trail Blazers.
Last night, I went 1-3 to bring my season-long record to 77-46-2 ATS (62.6%). Here are three more free NBA picks to take us into Easter weekend.
Table of contents
- Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors (-2.5) – Total: 224.5
- Charlotte Hornets at Indiana Pacers (-4) – Total: 219.5
- Minnesota Timberwolves at Memphis Grizzlies (-6.5) – Total: 230.5
Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors (-2.5) – Total: 224.5
GS: back-end b2b (@MIA yesterday)
TOR: 4 games in 6 days
The Raptors have struggled quite a bit recently, losing eight of their last nine games. However, this matchup against the Warriors could be exactly what the doctor ordered. Golden State will be playing its second game in as many nights, and its 3-7 ATS record in that situation isn’t looking too hopeful. In addition, the Warriors are 9-16 ATS on the road and 10-19 ATS as the underdog this season.
Betting Pick: Raptors (-2.5)
Charlotte Hornets at Indiana Pacers (-4) – Total: 219.5
CHA: back-end b2b (@BKN yesterday), 3 games in 4 days, 4 in 6
IND: normal rest, front-end b2b (@SA tomorrow)
I don’t know what the hell that was from the Hornets last night, but they owe us one. It’s not the most appealing scenario for the Charlotte, which is playing its second game in as many nights. However, the Pacers haven’t been great in tonight’s scenarios. When playing at home, Indy is 6-15 ATS and 5-11 ATS as a home favorite. There’s also a tale of two cities when it comes to common opponents. The Hornets are 14-8 ATS against Eastern Conference opponents while the Pacers are 10-18 ATS.
Betting Pick: Hornets (+4)
Minnesota Timberwolves at Memphis Grizzlies (-6.5) – Total: 230.5
MIN: normal rest, front-end b2b (@PHI tomorrow)
MEM: normal rest
The Grizzlies should put a nice whooping on the T-Wolves tonight, so I’ll keep this one short. Memphis has won each of the last four meetings against Minnesota and covered the spread in 11 of the last 13. The two teams are heading in opposite directions, and these are the types of teams the Grizz has feasted on. This season, they’re 14-7 ATS as the favorite and 9-5 ATS when favored at home.
Betting Pick: Grizzlies (-6.5)
