Monday’s six-game NBA schedule has plenty of excitement for the people. NBA TV will handle a national doubleheader, as we’ll see the Utah Jazz at New Orleans Pelicans and Charlotte Hornets at Portland Trail Blazers- both games will be covered in this space.
Before the weekend, I went 3-1 on Friday night to bring my season-long record to 31-19-2 ATS (62%). Here are four more NBA picks to keep your bankroll in the green:
Table of contents
- Indiana Pacers at Philadelphia 76ers (-4.5) – Total: 224
- Denver Nuggets (-5) at Chicago Bulls – Total: 227.5
- Utah Jazz (-7) at New Orleans Pelicans – Total: 227.5
- Charlotte Hornets at Portland Trail Blazers (-6) – Total: 232.5
Indiana Pacers at Philadelphia 76ers (-4.5) – Total: 224
IND: 3 games in 4 days, 4 games in 6 days
PHI: normal rest
The Pacers have covered four of their last five meetings against the 76ers, and another cover could be on the way. Philly did win the first meeting between the teams this season, but I feel like Indy could be coming into town with a little dose of revenge.
This is a matchup between two very similar teams, giving us the opportunity to see a tight game tonight. Look for the Pacers’ bigs to match up well with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, leading them to covering the spread.
Betting Pick: Pacers (+4.5)
Denver Nuggets (-5) at Chicago Bulls – Total: 227.5
DEN: normal rest, front-end b2b (@MIL tomorrow)
CHI: 2 days rest
There has been a very consistent trend in these Nuggets-Bulls matchups, with six of the last seven going over the total. This seems like it could happen again, considering the two teams are both 6-4 over the last 10 games. In my opinion, this should be a very tight game that could possibly find itself going into overtime. Free basketball = more points!
Betting Pick: Over 227.5 points
Utah Jazz (-7) at New Orleans Pelicans – Total: 227.5
UTA: 3 games in 4 days, 4 games in 6 days
NO: 4 games in 6 days
Both teams have been very good ATS in tonight’s scenarios, but that should give us an indication that we’ll see a highly competitive game in The Big Easy. While the Jazz have been strong in every regard, the Pelicans do own an exceptional 5-1 ATS as a home underdog this season.
Betting Pick: Pelicans (+7)
Charlotte Hornets at Portland Trail Blazers (-6) – Total: 232.5
CHA: back-end b2b (@SAC yesterday), 4 games in 6 days
POR: 2 days rest
This should be the most entertaining game of the night, with the Damian Lillard and LaMelo Ball going back and forth at one another.
Sure, the Hornets did play last night, but they are 5-2 ATS when playing on the back end of a B2B set this season. This is a very young team, so perhaps a lot of those aches, pains and fatigue aren’t hitting them just yet. Look for this to be a competitive game that goes right down to the wire. With any luck, we’ll have a festival of free throws at the end.
Betting Pick: Over 232.5 points
