Monday’s seven-game NBA schedule has a lot of fantastic matchups in store for us. NBA TV has the national doubleheader tonight, with the first game featuring the Houston Rockets at Washington Wizards and Miami Heat at Los Angeles Clippers- I’ll only be writing about the latter, in addition to the other two games I have chosen.
Last week, I had a strong 12-4 ATS record in my first week of writing NBA articles for US-Odds.com. Make sure you keep it locked here for the rest of the season as we try to increase the bankroll a little more each week.
Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers
Spread: Pacers (-6)
Total: 225
CHI: 2 days off
IND: 4 games in 6 days
Everything is adding up for the Bulls to cover the spread in this matchup. For one, they have already seen the Pacers in a matchup this season. Granted, it didn’t go well for Chicago in that one, but now it knows what to expect for its opponent. The other thing to point out is that the Bulls had a full two days off before this matchup while the Pacers are playing their fourth game in six days.
It’s also worth noting that Chicago has a fantastic 8-1 ATS record as a road underdog this season.
Betting Pick: Bulls +6
Atlanta Hawks at New York Knicks
Spread: Hawks (-2)
Total: 217.5
ATL: 3 games in 4 days, 4 days in 6 nights
NYK: 3 games in 4 days
While the Hawks have lost three straight and six of the last seven, there is reason to believe they’ll get revenge on the Knicks this evening. Earlier this season, New York got a narrow five-point victory over Atlanta.
However, this time around should seem different. The Hawks do have a 3-1 ATS record as a road favorite this season, so that gives us some hope. Individually, this could wind up being a huge game for Trae Young considering ATL has is missing a few guys in their backcourt due to injury.
Betting Pick: Hawks -2

Brooklyn Nets at Sacramento Kings
Spread: Nets (-4)
Total: 243
BKN: front-end b2b (@PHX tomorrow)
SAC: back-end b2b (vs. MEM yesterday), 3 games in 4 days
Something is definitely missing with the Kings right now, as they’ve lost three straight games that have all been at home and will now be playing on the back end of a B2B. We could attribute this recent slide to a late fourth-quarter collapse against the 76ers on Tuesday night, and that moment hasn’t been fully healed yet. Sacramento already has struggled in tonight’s current situation, entering the game at 3-7 ATS as a home underdog this season.
While the Nets will be missing Kevin Durant, the team looks like they’re all having a lot more fun over these last two games. I’d look for Kyrie Irving and James Harden to both put on fantastic individual shows tonight and lead the team to victory.
Betting Pick: Nets -4
