These two teams met back in Week 12, with the Chiefs winning a close 27-24 battle on the road against the Bucs. In that game, Tyreek Hill went bananas with 13 catches on 15 targets for 269 yards and three TDs, most of which came in the first half. Additionally, Patrick Mahomes had a big day going 37-for-49 for 462 yards and three TDs.

Coin Toss: Heads or Tails?

It’s my favorite prop bet every year, and certainly has been in recent memory. In six of the last seven Super Bowls, it has been tails to come out on the coin toss. Tails has enjoyed three different four-game streaks over the last 23 years while heads even had a five-game streak at one point.
At the end of the day, there’s no real way to handicap the coin toss. It’s just a nice way of getting the bets underway in a dramatic fashion.

This one is all about taking the odds, as the opposite side (overturned) sits at -140. And honestly, do we have any data to suggest that the first challenged play of a game will have a more likely outcome than the other? I think not, so let’s make the smarter monetary play of the two.

Going with this number-range here basically means that we’re looking for a tight end to get the first score. And luckily, there’s plenty of talent at that position for both teams.
KC’s Travis Kelce is one of the best this game has ever seen and should be a focal point in the offensive attack. In the Week 12 matchup between the Bucs and Chiefs, WR Tyreek Hill was the one who went bananas, so I’d expect Tampa Bay to shift their attention towards him fully; that would leave Kelce open a lot and I do believe he’ll smash all kinds of basic props on this night.
On the other side, the Bucs have a formidable duo of Rob Gronkowski and Cam Brate at the TE position. The two will be called on a lot more once again if WR Antonio Brown can’t give it a go. At the end of the day, these are the most trusted hands for QB Tom Brady.
