I am one of the few that believes the Rams can go into Lambeau Field and make a game of it- maybe even win the game outright. After all, the Packers aren’t even over the main number of a seven-point spread.
One of the best ways to do that will be to key in on the Packers’ main weapon in Adams. Luckily, LA ranks No. 1 in the NFL against the pass, with a strong pass rush led by DT Aaron Donald and anchored by CB Jalen Ramsey in the secondary. Ramsey will be able to shadow Adams, giving us the best one-on-one matchup this weekend.
The Packers haven’t faced a stout defense since Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. That day, QB Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense had four turnovers that day.
Look for Rodgers to struggle with getting time and for Ramsey to stay by Adams’ side all night long.

The Rams are likely going to take a slow-and-steady approach to this matchup with the Packers. For one, keeping Aaron Rodgers on the Green Bay sideline would increase the chances of the defense making an impact. Also, the Packers’ run defense has historically been easy to pick on down the stretch. Reason being- it’s starting to get cold, and people just don’t want to get hit.
Akers has been phenomenal since getting the load of the carries in the LA backfield. In fact, his two best games came against stiffer competition in the last month of the season- 171 yards vs. NE, 131 yards/TD at SEA. Since the Rams want to slow this game down, expect Akers to get plenty of work out of the backfield.
