Week 15 of the NFL season has some fantastic matchups at the quarterback position. Even though this is the time of year that bad weather creeps upon us, I’ll find the right spots to avoid these hindrances.
In this article, I will identify the best value in the player-prop betting market from these matchups. The odds in this article are from William Hill Sports – Use the promo code TS500 for a 100% first-time sign-up deposit bonus of up to $500.

Philip Rivers (Indianapolis Colts) vs. Houston Texans
Sunday, 1:00 pm EST | Watch: CBS
Lucas Oil Stadium – Indianapolis, IN
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-210)
- Over 278.5 Passing Yards (-115)
- Over 24.5 Passing Completions (-130)
- Under 0.5 Interceptions (-140)
As a huge home favorite (-7.5), the Colts are expected to do some damage this matchup. Despite looking like he has a half of an arm throwing the football, Rivers has been quite effective. Over the last four games, the future Hall-of-Famer has a strong 9 TD-2 INT ratio.
Rivers went 27-for-35 for 285 yards and 2 TDs against the Texans two weeks ago. Odds are looking good (pun intended) for him to have an encore performance. As I mentioned at the top, I would be choosing indoor games only for these prop bets, and this is just that.
Mitchell Trubisky (Chicago Bears) at Minnesota Vikings
Sunday, 1:00 pm EST | Watch: FOX
US Bank Stadium – Minneapolis, MN
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-105)
- Over 244.5 Passing Yards (-115)
- Over 13.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
- Over 21.5 Passing Completions (-125)
- Under 0.5 Interceptions (+120)
I don’t know what happened to the old Mitch Trubisky, but I’m loving this new version. In three games since being named the starter for the rest of season, the former UNC Tar Heel has three TD passes in two of those instances.
This season, seven different QBs have passed for at least 265 yards against the Vikings- four of them went for 300+. Thankfully, this game will also be indoors so there’s even more reason to feel optimistic here.
Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs) at New Orleans Saints
Sunday, 4:25 pm EST | Watch: CBS
Mercedes-Benz Superdome – New Orleans, LA
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+115)
- Over 318.5 Passing Yards (-115)
- Over 26.5 Passing Completions (-115)
- Under 0.5 Interceptions (-140)
I know, you’re probably tired about hearing the indoors narrative… but at least you get a former MVP for this prop bet. Mahomes will take on a Saints defense that ranks second in the NFL against the run, meaning that the passing game will be on full display this Sunday.
Mahomes has been fantastic throwing the football recently, going for at least (AT LEAST!!!) 315 yards in each of his last six games- two of them going for 400+.
As you heard on Taking Sides this week, I absolutely love KC in this matchup and Mahomes will certainly be the catalyst in getting us the W.
