Week 14 of the NFL season has some juicy wide-receiver matchups to take advantage of, and we’re going to do just that. While the weather may be getting colder in most parts of the country, we have sidestepped that roadblock this week and kept it indoors and to nice parts of the country like California and Florida.
In this article, I will identify the best value in the player-prop betting market for Week 14. The odds in this article are from William Hill Sports – Use the promo code TS500 for a 100% first-time sign-up deposit bonus of up to $500.
Wide Receiver Props
- Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers) at Detroit Lions
- Adam Thielen (Minnesota Vikings) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Keenan Allen (Los Angeles Chargers) vs. Atlanta Falcons
Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers) at Detroit Lions
Sunday, 1:00 pm EST | Watch: FOX
Ford Field – Detroit, MI
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 92.5 receiving yards (-115)
- Over 7.5 receptions (+110)
Another week, another chance to cash in on the success of the NFL’s best WR. Adams passed the 1,000-yard mark last week with 10-catch, 121-yard performance against the Philadelphia Eagles that included two TDs.
This week’s matchup against the Lions is one of the best in the NFL, as the Lions allow the sixth-most passing yards per game (261). Of course, I wrote up Aaron Rodgers in the QB props article earlier this week and had a blurb about Adams helping him out in order to reach these prop numbers. Well, one hand washes the other – especially against the Lions.
Adam Thielen (Minnesota Vikings) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sunday, 1:00 pm EST | Watch: FOX
Raymond James Stadium – Tampa, FL
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 72.5 receiving yards (-115)
- Over 5.5 receptions (+105)
As mentioned on this week’s episode of Taking Sides, I told Pauly Parlays that the Buccaneers are going to win this game convincingly- and they will. That means we’re going to see a heavy passing attack from the Vikings for the third straight week. Giddy up, Thielen!
Tampa Bay’s No. 1 run defense makes opposing teams throw the ball a ton, so expect Thielen and fellow WR Justin Jefferson to see a ton of targets this week. Thielen has seen 11 targets in each of his last two games, and there’s no doubt he could see even more in this matchup.
It’s also worth noting that Thielen has five TDs over his last three games.
Keenan Allen (Los Angeles Chargers) vs. Atlanta Falcons
Sunday, 4:25 pm EST | Watch: FOX
SoFi Stadium – Inglewood, CA
Prop Bets Watch:
- Over 69.5 receiving yards (-115)
- Over 6.5. receptions (-110)
Allen hasn’t topped 50 yards in each of the last two weeks, but it’s important to note that the targets have still been there (10, 11). These have been two very tough matchups, against the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, but better things are ahead.
This week’s matchup against the Falcons will get him back on the good foot, considering they are allowing the third-most passing yards per game (285.3). Teams that lose 45-0 the previous week should have a bit of added motivation in the following game, so look for Allen to spearhead the Chargers offensive attack this week.
