It’s going to be an absolute thriller to cap off Week 3, as the Kansas City Chiefs travel to take on the Baltimore Ravens in front of a national TV audience. The Monday Night Football battle will feature each of the last two league MVPs – QBs Patrick Mahomes of KC and Lamar Jackson of Baltimore.
The Ravens come into this game as 3.5-point favorites, and that’s a spot that Mahomes and the Chiefs rarely find themselves. In fact, Mahomes has only been an underdog six times, going 4-2 straight up (5-0-1 against the spread). However, as they say in Las Vegas: “If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.”
In this article, I’ll identify some of the best NFL player props from the matchup between the Chiefs and Ravens. As per usual, the odds on these props come to us via DraftKings Sportsbook.

Coming into Week 3, the Chiefs were allowing the fifth-most yards per carry this season. That’s not a great sign for KC, considering Baltimore will look to jam the ball down their throats all night long with a compliment of the reigning MVP and the mix of Mark Ingram, JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards out of the backfield. In order for Jackson to reach the number on this prop bet, he’ll need to do a little better than each of his first two games this season – 45 in Week 1, 54 in Week 2. Luckily, KC’s defense will be there to help him out. When the two teams met in Week 3 last season, Jackson ran for 46 yards and a touchdown. Monday does bring out the best in everyone…
Patrick Mahomes – Over 0.5 Interceptions (-112)
I imagine the Ravens are going to be able to control the clock quite a bit in this game, and that could force Mahomes into some situations where he needs to force things. In general, I also feel like the Chiefs will just be throwing the ball more on a normal day. Mahomes was far more effective against the Texans in Week 1, while only throwing for 211 yards, than he was in Week 2. Expect the Ravens’ defense to be prepared for Mahomes through the air, leading to his first interception of the season.
Nick Boyle – Any Time Touchdown (+425)
This is a guy’s name that keeps popping up, and the odds on a nice payout for him scoring a TD are pretty damn good. While Boyle has only seen two targets through the first two games, he is playing a ton of the Ravens’ snaps. A guy like Boyle will probably be useful only around the goal line, but I do expect Baltimore to be in that territory quite a bit tonight. This is obviously one of those long-shot situations, so take this prop with a grain of salt.
