Today’s NBA schedule means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it’s still another opportunity for us to make some money on these games. With a little bit of research and analyzing the list of active players, there are certainly some angles to be had here in the bubble. For these teams, it will be the final tune-up before the playoffs start on Monday.
In this article, we’ll take a look at the odds and best value plays from all four of the games on the NBA slate. All of these lines are according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
Denver Nuggets at Toronto Raptors
1:30 p.m. EST | Watch: NBA League Pass
Total: 255.5 | Over: -112 | Under: -109
DEN | Spread: +3.5 (-110) | Moneyline: +130
TOR | Spread: -3.5 (-110) | Moneyline: -155

– Moneyline: TOR, 56% of bets made | DEN, 93% of money wagered
– Total: Over, 75% of bets made | 50/50% of money wagered
Betting Pick: Raptors -3.5 (-110)
We already saw the Nuggets pull their main players in the fourth quarter of the last game they played, and it wasn’t pretty. I love the depth on the Raptors roster as it’s filled with all sorts of energetic players. Denver head coach Mike Malone was recently quoted as saying, “Right now, we have the worst defense in the bubble, by a mile.” He ain’t kidding, as evidenced by the amount of points they’re allowing in Orlando.
Miami Heat at Indiana Pacers
4:00 p.m. EST | Watch: ESPN
Total: 222 | Over: -112 | Under: -109
MIA | Spread: -1 (-109) | Moneyline: -113
IND | Spread: +1 (-112) | Moneyline: -105
Where’s the Money Going? (as of 11 a.m. EST)
– Spread: MIA, 59% of bets made | MIA, 65% of money wagered
– Moneyline: IND, 53% of bets made | IND, 94% of money wagered
– Total: Over, 70% of bets made | Under, 87% of money wagered
Betting Pick: Under 222
These two teams will play each other in the opening round of the playoffs. Because of that, expect a lot of vanilla offensive sets and slow-tempo play. After all, no one wants to be giving away any secrets in a meaningless game.
Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Clippers
6:30 p.m. EST | Watch: ESPN
Total: 225.5 | Over: -108 | Under: -113
OKC | Spread: +6 (-110) | Moneyline: +205
LAC | Spread: -6 (-110) | Moneyline: -250
Where’s the Money Going? (as of 11 a.m. EST)
– Spread: OKC, 66% of bets made | 92% of money wagered
– Moneyline: N/A of bets made | LAC, 88% of money wagered
– Total: Over, 57% of bets made | Under, 99% of money wagered
Betting Pick: Under 225.5
Nearly every star player in this game is sitting out, making it a stayaway for me. If you feel the need to take a side here, you can rest easy on the fact that these players will – well, rest easy. The playoffs are right around the corner and while the guys playing today probably won’t have the biggest impact next week, they don’t want to get hurt either. Everyone just take it easy in this game and let’s not have a high-scoring affair.
Philadelphia 76ers at Houston Rockets
9:00 p.m. EST |Watch: ESPN
Total: 230.5 | Over: -112 | Under: -109
PHI | Spread: +4.5 (-109) | Moneyline: +155
HOU | Spread: -4.5 (-112) | Moneyline: -186
Where’s the Money Going? (as of 11 a.m. EST)
– Spread: PHI, 56% of bets made | PHI, 80% of money wagered
– Moneyline: HOU, 54% of bets made | PHI, 67% of money wagered
– Total: Under, 62% of bets made | Over, 63% of money wagered
Betting Pick: Over 230.5 (-112)
I know I just spent two games gushing about the total going under, but the players on these teams can still score the basketball – especially the Rockets. Mike D’Antoni is kind of a sicko, so it’s won’t surprise me to see this be an up-tempo game at all. Houston will shoot a ton of threes and that makes their opponents get to that same level as well. This game has the highest total of the night for a reason.
