It was a long NBA regular season, but we’ve finally reached the NBA Playoffs. For the 16 teams still alive, it doesn’t matter how they got here, even for the No. 8 seeds that needed the Play-In Tournament to qualify.
Given that each round of the NBA Playoffs is a best-of-seven series, we are still along way from the NBA Finals. Between injuries, fatigue and momentum, we truly could see any team emerge as a champion this postseason, in what is expected to be one of the most competitive NBA Playoffs we’ve seen in some time.
With no true “super teams,” as has been the case in many past seasons, here are the odds to win the 2022 NBA Finals.

NBA Championship Predictions and Best Bets
Here are a couple of NBA championship predictions and best bets for the 2022 NBA Playoffs.
Best NBA Finals Bets: Phoenix Suns (+260)
The Suns are the favorites to win it all, and for good reason. Not only did they have the best record in the NBA this season, they had the best record by eight games. They have also been consistently great all season long no matter who is in or out of the lineup. That’s the big difference between this team and the one that lost in the NBA Finals last season.
Chris Paul missed a 15-game stretch following the All-Star Break. The Suns went 12-3 during that stretch. It seems to be a pattern for CP3 to get hurt in the playoffs. However, if that happens again, this improved Suns team has the role players to keep the ship afloat.
The Suns are also in a Western Conference that has key injuries surrounding them, creating an easier path to the Finals. This makes the Suns my best bet to win the NBA Title at +260 odds.
Best NBA Finals Bets: Brooklyn Nets (+900)
The Nets needed to win a Play-In game to reserve their spot in the NBA Playoffs, but it’s clear they have as good of a shot as anyone to emerge from the Eastern Conference. So, with them getting 9-to-1 odds, they’re a great value play and best bet to put your money on.
Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have championship experience to lead the roster. Around them, they have shooters on the perimeter and post players to bang down low, which can be a mismatch for some top Eastern Conference teams, like the Bucks and Celtics. The Nets may also be getting Ben Simmons back, which would be a major defensive boost for this team, especially against a player like Giannis Anetetokounmpo.
Unfortunately for the rest of the NBA, the Nets may be about to peak at the right time, and that’s why I’m making them a best bet with +900 odds to win the 2022 NBA Title.
