Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we’ll take a look at a couple of team totals (Brooklyn Nets & Phoenix Suns) and an individual prop bet on Giannis Antetounmkpo and LeBron James as the Milwaukee Bucks face the Los Angeles Lakers.
Best NBA Props Today (2/8/22)
Phoenix Suns at Philadelphia 76ers
NBA Prop: Suns Team Total – Under 109.5 Points (-115)
Both teams have totals of 109.5 tonight as this game is listed as a toss-up. However, I do believe there’s an angle to play here with the Suns’ team total. Phoenix played a tough game in Chicago last night and now has to make the trip into another time zone for this matchup.
While the Suns do have some things working against them, this could very well wind up being a tight, low-scoring game. Phoenix has sputtered a bit in recent action and the back-to-back scenario gives Philly a much better chance in this one.
Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets
NBA Prop: Nets Team Total – Under 103.5 Points (-110)
The Nets return home after a winless five-game West Coast road trip; only one of those losses came by single-digits. I talk about this a lot, but that first game back home after a lengthy road trip is always tough on a team… and that’s not where the hard times end. Brooklyn will be missing all three of its main stars in this matchup.
While the Nets are a dreadful 12-13 at Barclays Center, the Celtics are looking for their fourth straight road win. In fact, Boston is a heavy 7.5-point favorite in tonight’s matchup and that raises plenty of eyebrows out there. It looks as if the Nets will lay a complete dud tonight.
Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Lakers
NBA Prop: Giannis Antetokounmpo + LeBron James: Each Score 30+ Points (+260)
The Bucks-Lakers matchup should be the best one of the evening with all of the star-power on the floor. Most people are tuning in to see the LeBron vs. Giannis head-to-head battle, and that’s exactly where we’re heading with this prop bet of getting both guys to hit the 30-point mark.
One big reason that I feel confident in Giannis is that Khris Middleton has basically fallen off a cliff in recent games. In fact, Middleton has failed to reach 20 points in each of his last four games; Giannis will pick up the slack there. As for LeBron… well, he’s all the Lakers really have at this point. Of course, Anthony Davis will contribute in a number of different ways. However, we know we can’t depend on this guy on a regular basis.
