Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Friday, February 4, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we’ll take a look at a couple of team totals (Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers) and an individual prop bet on Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz.
Best NBA Props Today (2/4/22)
Cleveland Cavaliers at Charlotte Hornets
NBA Prop: Cavaliers Team Total – Under 107.5 Points (-120)
There are a lot of numbers that don’t make sense in this Cavaliers-Hornets matchup tonight. For one, I would have expected the game total to be higher than 218 points with Charlotte running the NBA’s second-fastest pace.
Looking at the betting landscape, we are seeing the Hornets getting about 60% of both the bets and money. I’m going to agree with the slight majority in this one and put my faith in Charlotte’s defense at home. It is certainly strange to see the Hornets as 4.5-point favorites here, and it looks like there is going to be a good reason for that.
Atlanta Hawks at Toronto Raptors
NBA Prop: Raptors Team Total – Over 109.5 Points (-120)
Since the Hawks played a tough game last night against the Suns, I doubt they’re going to have enough left in the tank for this matchup above the border with the Raptors. After all, Atlanta ended Phoenix’s lengthy winning streak, so it will be tough to muster up that amount of energy for the second night in a row – in a different country, nevertheless.
The two teams played each other once this season, with the Hawks winning by the final score of 106-100. With the heavy juice flowing towards the under on 109.5 points, it seems as though we’ll get our wish with a sluggish scoring night from Atlanta.
Brooklyn Nets at Utah Jazz
NBA Prop: Donovan Mitchell – Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
With Jazz center Rudy Gobert out of the lineup, we should expect to see Mitchell have a game for the ages. After all, the Nets are on a six-game losing streak and don’t seem to be in it mentally on the defensive end.
Mitchell is coming off a putrid 13-point output in his last game. Good players do not get held down like this for two games in a row; Mitchell will show up with a big performance tonight. In three of his previous four games before Monday, Mitchell posted 30+ points. If we get that type of effort tonight, we’ll cruise right past his 33.5 PRA number.
