Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we will look at three players on the slate — Joel Embiid, James Harden & Kristaps Porzingis — and see who is showing the best value in the NBA player prop bets markets.
Best NBA Player Props Today (1/25/22)
New Orleans Pelicans at Philadelphia 76ers
NBA Player Prop: Joel Embiid – Over 31.5 Points (-105)
How do you go against Embiid at this point? The man has scored 30+ points in all but one of his 11 games in the month of January. In fact, Embiid has dropped 50, 40 and 38 in each of his last three games.
Tonight’s matchup against the Pelicans is one that ranks slightly above average. While the 76ers continue to miss a few key pieces of their offense, Embiid is more than willing to handle the load. You might want to sprinkle a few dollars on him to win the NBA’s MVP award while you’re at it too.
Los Angeles Lakers at Brooklyn Nets
NBA Player Prop: James Harden – Under 28.5 Points (-115)
This will be the first game back home for the Nets after a four-game road trip that wrapped up in Minnesota on Sunday. Typically, teams that return home for the first time tend to be sluggish, and it almost seems like an extension of the road trip.
The Nets will be without both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, and you would think this means Harden should take a million shots tonight. In my opinion, the Lakers will likely look to put a few different bodies on him and keep him guessing all night. After all, Harden has only exceeded this mark of 28.5 points once over the last 11 games.
Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors
NBA Player Prop: Kristaps Porzingis – Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Porzingis hasn’t played his best basketball of late, but he is recovering from a foot injury that cost him about two weeks. Eventually, he is going to turn the corner, and I’d like to be there when he does. In fact, Porzingis posted a double-double on Thursday, which was his first since Dec. 15 against the Lakers.
This is usually a tough matchup against the Warriors, but the absence of Draymond Green should make hitting this number achievable. It is worth noting that Porzingis has three double-doubles in his last five meetings with Golden State.
