Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we will look at three players on the slate — James Harden, Jarrett Allen & Nikola Jokic — and see who is showing the best value in the NBA player prop bets markets.
Best NBA Player Props Today (1/19/22)
Brooklyn Nets at Washington Wizards
NBA Player Prop: James Harden – Under 26.5 Points (-115)
Harden has been hovering right around this mark of 26.5 points in each of his last five games. Of course, he will have a lot more shooting opportunities with Kevin Durant out of the lineup, but that also means the Wizards are going to put more defensive pressure on him.
I don’t necessarily believe that Harden will be shut down. However, there’s enough evidence in recent games to see where this is going, and the Wizards will undoubtedly get something craft going on defense. Since joining the Nets, Harden hasn’t exceeded 26.5 points in two meetings against the Wizards.
Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls
NBA Player Prop: Jarrett Allen – Over 10.5 Rebounds (-105)
Allen has grabbed 10+ rebounds in four of his last five games, putting him in great form heading into this matchup against the division-rival Bulls. The good times should certainly keep rolling, considering the Bulls rank in the bottom third of the NBA in rebounding rate.
In four matchups against the Bulls as a member of the Cavs, Allen has grabbed at least nine rebounds. With this being such a monumental matchup, you have to imagine the motivation alone gets Allen above this mark.
Los Angeles Clippers at Denver Nuggets
NBA Player Prop: Nikola Jokic – Over 8.5 Assists (+120)
Jokic has been a monster on the stat sheet in recent games, finishing with two straight double-doubles. This is an incredible stretch for The Joker, especially since those performances came against the Jazz and Lakers.
Jokic just missed this mark in his last meeting against the Clippers, finishing with eight assists. I actually wrote him up that day, so that was certainly disconcerting to see that fall flat like that. However, the type of performances that Jokic has been putting up lately should have everyone feeling the optimism on the over.
