This week’s edition of Sunday Night Football features an NFC East rivalry as old as time – the Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys. Heading into this matchup, the Cowboys are in full control of the division with a three-game lead in the division. With a win on Sunday night, they would clinch the NFC East and get themselves a home game.

Washington at Cowboys – Expert Pick Against The Spread
Dallas Cowboys (-10.5)
The two teams just faced one another two weeks ago, with the Cowboys winning 27-20. Dallas had a very comfortable 24-0 lead at halftime before Washington came storming back to bring it to a one-score game. I would not expect the Cowboys to fall into that same type of trap, rather hopping on the lead once again but not letting it go this time.
Dallas has a strong running game led by the two-headed duo of Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard. Stopping them is always hard, but it’s even more difficult to do when you played a game just five days ago. This will be a tough spot physically for Washington to come back and take on its divisional rivals on short rest.
Washington at Cowboys -Over/Under Pick
Under 47 Points (-110)
The 47-point total is exactly what we got in the matchup two weeks ago, and it probably shouldn’t have even been up that high. There were a ton of turnovers, some of which were actually taken back for touchdowns, and you just wouldn’t expect that type of sloppiness to continue with the football.
Both defenses have been playing well lately, but the nod will certainly be going to the Cowboys. Of course, this year’s version of the Dallas defense has been creating one turnover after the other. We just hope that we don’t see too many of these turnovers taken to the house in this one.
