Despite having a COVID outbreak on the roster last week, the Rams are a more well-rounded football team at the moment. LA had a rebirth of sorts last week, winning a huge game against Arizona on the road. Now that the Cardinals lost to Lions over the weekend, the Rams find themselves in a striking position to win the NFC West.
As I’ll mention further below, Seattle’s offense has really struggled in recent memory against LA. Wilson, in particular, has felt the brunt of the Rams defense getting hit with great regularity in the pocket. LA knows it needs this game badly for playoff positioning, so look for it to come out ready to play tonight.
Under 47 Points (-110)
The Rams have always done a great job against Russell Wilson, holding him to just one game with 300+ in 19 career meetings. In fact, he passed for fewer than 255 yards in 16 of the 19 career meetings against the Rams as well.
Clearly, something works for this LA defense against Wilson – and it got even better with the addition of Von Miller. One thing that is always appealing against Seattle is running the football and keeping Wilson off the field. In all of those meetings against Wilson, LA has also sacked him 5+ times in a game seven different times! Nightmares all night, that is for sure!
Matt Gay – Over 7.5 Kicking Points (-110)
I have been super impressed with Gay’s accuracy as a member of the Rams, and that dates back to last season. In fact, Gay is 40-for-43 in his almost two seasons with the team. When he was a member of the Buccaneers, he missed a total of eight kicks in one season! Perhaps, the indoor-like stadium in LA is much better for accuracy. Whatever the case is, the Rams will be able to move the football against the Seahawks, and that should lead to plenty of opportunities for Gay.
