Washington Capitals at Chicago Blackhawks – TOTAL: 5.5

We’re already seeing a big difference in bets to money in this Blackhawks-Capitals matchup, with about 70% of the bets on the total going over and about 70% of the money on the under. The total actually opened at 6.0 goals, but the sharp action made all of the books move down to 5.5.
In general, both teams are usually middling right around these totals – neither team is really leaning heavily in one direction or the other. Let’s trust the money movement here and roll with the under.

New York Rangers at Arizona Coyotes – TOTAL: 5.5

The Rangers are huge favorites out in the desert tonight, and that comes one night after they lost their third game in four tries. Meanwhile, the Coyotes haven’t been too much better recently with five straight losses.
In taking New York on the puck line, there’s strong value here despite the b2b situation it is in. Arizona is one of, if not, the worst teams in the NHL; I don’t see this team making a miraculous effort in order to break the losing streak tonight.

Seattle Kraken at Anaheim Ducks – TOTAL: 5.5
SEA: +140
ANA: -150
Just like the Rangers, the Kraken was in action last night – winning a 3-1 game on the road against the San Jose Sharks. Seattle has been playing some decent puck this season, but it’ll run into a very good Anaheim team that has won three of its last four games.
When these two teams last met, in Seattle, the Ducks hung an impressive 7-4 victory on the Kraken. I believe Anaheim will do it again tonight and get the puck-line (+145) win in the process.
