This week’s Monday Night Football matchup features the Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals. There’s a lot riding on this game as it will give us a better idea of who the NFC West winner will be. Here, I will provide the top Monday Night Football picks, odds, and lines for the Rams at Cardinals matchup tonight.
Monday Night Football Picks – Rams at Cardinals
Rams | Cardinals | |
ML | +115 | -136 |
Spread | +2 (-110) | -2 (-110) |
Total | O51 (-110) | U51 (-110) |
Rams +3 (-110)
This is all about desperation for the Rams, who could find themselves missing out on the NFC West title if they lose to the Cardinals tonight. Arizona is currently two games up on LA with a win in hand from all the way back in Week 4.
Prior to last week, the Rams had lost three straight games – all of them coming against quality opponents. However, they did come back strong with a 30-point win at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. As I mentioned at the top, this will be a highly motivated LA team looking to position itself nicely for the playoffs, whereas Arizona might be feeling themselves too much.
Over 51 Points (-110)
When the two teams met back in Week 4, we had 57 total points in the Cardinals’ 37-20 victory. Arizona jumped out to a big lead early in that one while LA tried to come back as much as it could. With both teams having a lot to play for, we could see a frenetic pace going back and forth.
Kyler Murray and Matthew Stafford both have outside chances to win the NFL MVP award, and this will likely be one of their last chances to showcase themselves in front of a national-TV audience.
Super Boost (+160): Kyler Murray & Matt Stafford Each Over 1.5 Pass TDs
Both pass offenses are some of the best units in football – ARZ: 2nd DVOA, 11th in yards per pass | LAR: 7th DVOA, 2nd in yards per pass. Typically, these super boosts aren’t designed to be great bets for the bettors, but I do believe this is one that can work out in favor.
Murray has thrown for 2+ touchdown passes in three of his last four games while Stafford has thrown three touchdown passes in each of his last two games. When the teams met back in Week 4, both QBs did have multiple touchdown passes.
