Thursday night’s NHL schedule is an exciting one to bring some action during the middle of the week. But, for my NHL picks today, we will focus on betting opportunities in San Jose Sharks at New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils at Winnipeg Jets & Calgary Flames at Anaheim Ducks.

San Jose Sharks at New York Rangers
It is certainly intriguing to see the Rangers as such heavy favorites against the Sharks, who have been just as good this season. This is a massive number to go against San Jose, considering it has won three straight games and five of the last six.
New York is no slouch either, though, winning each of the last four games and eight of the last nine. However, the Sharks are getting way too much value here, and we’ll be going against the masses here as about 80% of bets and money are in favor of the Rangers.

New Jersey Devils at Winnipeg Jets
Both teams have been putting up clunkers of late, losing four of their last five games respectively. In a situation like this, you have to look at the betting landscape and see where the action is – and boy, is this one interesting. While 82% of the bets are on the Jets, it’s the Devils that are getting nearly 80% of the money!
As mentioned, New Jersey has been up against it of late; each of its last two games were 5-2 defeats. Look for the Devils to start getting back on track, and it’ll start with a big performance tonight in Winnipeg.

Calgary Flames at Anaheim Ducks
Two of the NHL’s best offensive players, Johnny Gaudreau and Troy Terry, will have their teams get together for a tussle in Anaheim. I like the total going over 5.5 goals in this matchup, as the two marquee names will lead an onslaught of scoring. Ducks games, in particular, have been going crazy this week with a total of 20 goals in two games!
