Now that Bobby Portis is getting more playing time, we are finally starting to see him get in a groove. This has the most evident in his last two games, posting back-to-back doubles in back-to-back nights. Portis has now exceeded 15.5 points in three straight games, and in six of the last seven. The Magic own the NBA’s third-worst defensive efficiency rating, so we shouldn’t expect Portis to have too much trouble putting the ball in the basket tonight.

Surprisingly, the 76ers own the NBA’s worst rebounding efficiency. Of course, they have been without Ben Simmons all season and Joel Embiid in recent days, but we never expected this to happen. Harrison Barnes of the Kings is averaging 7.5 rebounds per game this season, although his numbers on the glass have been coming down in recent weeks. Nevertheless, Barnes did grab eight in his last game, so this could be the beginning of a rebounding resurgence for him.

I love the plus-odds here for Morant, considering he is averaging seven assists per game this season. Morant is usually hovering around five assists in a game, which is what he has done in each of the last seven games.
