NFL Week 9 is finally here! In this article, I will identify my favorite NFL Expert Picks Week 9 along with the best odds offered from NFL betting sites.
This week’s article features NFL picks in the following matchups: Las Vegas Raiders at New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings at Baltimore Ravens & Denver Broncos at Dallas Cowboys. Let’s dive into the games and see what we have there:
NFL Expert Picks Week 9
Las Vegas Raiders at New York Giants
I wrote about the Giants at the beginning of the week in the Lines to Take Early article, saying they would cover against the Raiders. Well, I’m changing that pick… to a moneyline bet!
The Raiders are 1-7 in their last eight trips to the Meadowlands, with the lone win coming on a last-minute gift of a Hail Mary against the Jets last season. Aside from getting rocked against a talented Rams team (with Mike Glennon starting), the Giants have been a competitive football team in recent weeks.
Look for them to get the outright win against a Raiders team that is dealing with one chaotic circumstance after the other.

Minnesota Vikings at Baltimore Ravens
In the past, we may not have looked at these two teams that would light up the scoreboard. However, this is present-day and we’re probably going to see plenty of points in this matchup.
The Ravens’ defense ranks dead-last in the NFL for yards allowed per pass; meanwhile, the Vikings’ offense ranks eighth in yards per pass. Look for the trio of Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen, and Justin Jefferson to have a big day in this one.
There’s also a nice mismatch in the running game, where the Ravens’ offense ranks third in yards per carry while the Vikings’ defense ranks 21st in yards allowed per carry.

Denver Broncos at Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are in a position to do some major damage on Sunday against the Broncos, so the double-digit spread doesn’t make me nervous one bit.
I saw a great stat from my buddy Frank Ammirante at GameDay earlier this week, stating the Cowboys rank first in adjusted line yards on offense while the Broncos rank 24th in defensive rush EPA.
It also doesn’t help that Denver just traded away one of the best defensive players in their team’s history, Von Miller. Look for Dallas to go heavy on the run this week with Dak Prescott (calf) coming off an injury while CeeDee Lamb is questionable (ankle).
