Week 6 of the NFL season gets started with an NFC matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1) and Philadelphia Eagles (2-3). These two teams had a historic matchup all the way back at the beginning of the century, and here we are to re-live that once again. In this article, I will identify the three most profitable Thursday Night Football Prop Bets from the Buccaneers-Eagles matchup on 10/14/2
Buccaneers at Eagles – High Value Thursday Night Football Prop Bets
Under 54 Points (-110)
Thursday night games with a total of 53+ points have gone under the total to the record of 13-4 over the last 17 tries. That’s good enough for me, even in a game where the two teams don’t have strong defensive units. Tom Brady has a sore thumb and the Bucs will look to run the football on a short week.
Leonard Fournette: Anytime Touchdown (+100)
It’s a short week and Brady has a sore thumb. That means the Bucs will lean on running the football at some point. Fournette has been a strong source of production in recent weeks, running for a combined 159 yards over the last two weeks. In addition, Fournette has received at least five targets in each of the last two weeks, adding up to seven catches for 90 receiving yards. There are multiple ways for him to get involved in the offense this week.
Devonta Smith: Over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Smith has topped this mark in each of his last two games (122, 77). Now, he’ll face a Buccaneers defense that is allowing the most passing yards per game (314.4) this season. While I do expect Tampa Bay to employ more of a rushing attack, Philly will likely be trying to be playing from behind. With the threat of the pass so evident for the Eagles, look for QB Jalen Hurts to find Smith more than enough times to cash in on this bet.
