TNF Prop Bets Week 4
Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals (-7.5)
Week 4 of the NFL season gets kicked off with a Thursday night matchup between two AFC teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals. This is also a duel of the last two No. 1 draft picks, which both happen to be quarterbacks. In this article, the most profitable TNF Prop Bets Week 4 will be identified to see if we can get some weekend money to play around with. Let’s take a look at what the three picks are:
Same Game Parlay: +240
- Alt Spread: Bengals (-6.5)
- Joe Mixon: Anytime Touchdown (-135)
- Joe Mixon: Over 84.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
Much to the dismay of my fantasy team, Mixon was not able to find his way into the end zone in the Week 3 win at the Steelers. That was probably the worst part of my Sunday, but that’s OK since the Bengals covered the spread AND got the outright victory- as seen here on US-Odds.com. I believe they’ll be able to handle the Jaguars, especially with a rookie QB playing on the road in a short-week game.
This time around, though, I would expect Mixon to get a decent amount of work, even on the short week. Typically, we’ll see teams use their RB2 a little more, but Mixon already has 67 of the 73 carries already by Bengals running backs through the first three games. Because of that, I would expect him to crack 100 yards against a weak Jaguars defense.
Trevor Lawrence: Over 1.5 Interceptions (+140)
As I mentioned, it’s a short week of preparation for the Jaguars coming into Thursday. Rookie QB Trevor Lawrence will face a very tough Bengals defense that has three interceptions in their last two games.
Surprisingly, Lawrence has thrown a total of seven interceptions this season, with at least two of them in each of those three games. As mentioned on a recent podcast I did this week, I reminded people that this Bengals’ defense is much better than anyone gives them credit for. The whole country will get to see that on Thursday night.
James Robinson: Over 3.5 Receptions (+115)
The amount of useful numbers here is almost too much to handle, so stick around for the last prop bet of the night. Robinson is coming off a huge performance in garbage time last week, catching all six of his targets for 46 yards. In fact, Robinson now has at least six targets in two of his three games this season.
Even better, the Bengals defense can help out quite a bit on Thursday. Cincy has allowed at least seven RB targets in all three games this season, and that includes the 19 (19!!!) they allowed to Steelers RB Najee Harris last week. If the game script goes according to plan, Robinson can easily smash this number of 3.5 catches for plus-money!
