The Sunday slate of football will be capped off by the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers. In this article, I will identify the best bets from the SNF Prop Bets Week 3 market.
This is a classic NFC rivalry as the two teams have seen each other a few times in recent years, including an NFC Championship Game, where the 49ers won and advanced to the Super Bowl.
SNF Prop Bets For Week 3
Jimmy Garoppolo – Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes (-120)
Looking at the odds on these prop bets, it looks like the 49ers are going to do some damage on Sunday night. San Francisco is a three-point favorite at home, even with their stable of running backs dealing with numerous injuries in a cluster. The 49ers will have to move the ball somehow, and that’ll likely come down to Garoppolo slinging the rock. WR Deebo Samuel has been fantastic early on this season, so look for him and TE George Kittle to play a big role in helping Jimmy G get over the 1.5 TD mark.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling – Under 2.5 Receptions (+110)
Valdes-Scantling is a big-play home run threat, but we haven’t seen much success in that department yet this season. With the Packers listed as underdogs, and having quite unfavorable odds in their prop bets, it’s highly unlikely that MVS is going to hit on a deep ball in this one – let along a couple of them. After getting shut out on four targets last week, Valdes-Scantling now only has three catches on 12 targets on the season. It also doesn’t help that the 49ers will be playing more of a ball-controlled offense that’ll take even more chances away from MVS.
Aaron Rodgers – Over 0.5 Interceptions (+140)
It’s a rarity for Rodgers to throw an interception, but I can see one coming on Sunday night. As it looks, the Packers will be playing from behind and that’s when Rodgers is at his worst. Just as we saw in Week 1, it doesn’t take much to get this guy off his game – good defense and killing the clock is how the Saints did it. Rodgers did have two interceptions in the opener, so perhaps “The Last Dance” will be a bumpy one.
