The 2021 Ryder Cup is finally here, and that means it’s time to tee it up for the most exciting golf event of the season. In this setting, Team USA will be taking on Team Europe, featuring a collection of the best golfers from around the globe. The event takes place every other year, with the locations alternating between the two teams. This year, the Ryder Cup will take place at Whistling Straights in Sheboygan, Wisconsin (USA).
In this article, I will identify some of the best bets with a particular focus on Ryder Cup Team Betting. Let’s look and see what stood out above the rest:
Ryder Cup Team Betting Predictions
Tournament Winner
Team Europe (+200 at Caesars)
It’s certainly interesting to see Team Europe with more favorable odds that are this high. I would consider Team USA the favorite, but I’m just not sure I’d do it at that price. Just based alone on the favorable odds, I believe you have to take that chance on Team Europe to win overall. There is another bet that favors Team USA, which I’ll get to in a minute, and you might even be able to win them both.
Winner | Odds |
---|---|
USA | -200 |
Europe | +200 |
Tie | +1200 |
Day 1 Winner
USA (-120 at Caesars)
This is where I’ll make my move on the homeland, with much more favorable odds at -120. And it makes plenty of sense, considering Team USA will likely have the crowd behind it. There are some big boppers on this team, with Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas leading the way. When it’s all said and done, though, expect that pesky Team Europe to find itself back in the mix.
Winner | Odds |
---|---|
USA | -120 |
Europe | +160 |
Tie | +500 |
Day 2 Winner
Tie (+700 at Caesars)
I’m going to take a leap of faith and say things will be competitive in the middle round. In all honesty, this selection doesn’t have a ton of real-data or statistics behind it.
However, I haven’t taken that HUGE leap yet, despite taking the underdog Team Europe in this matchup. While it is a plus-money opportunity, cashing in on a +700 bet is what really sounds appealing here.
Winner | Odds |
---|---|
USA | -120 |
Europe | +160 |
Tie | +700 |
Winning Margin
Europe by 1-3 (+400 at Caesars)
WIf we’re going to take Team Europe to win the whole tournament, then it only makes sense to pick the winning margin. A lot of these Ryder Cup events tend to be close finishes, with Team Europe winning seven of the last nine events.
There’s also another stipulation in the rules, where the previous winner gets the win in the event of a tie – no playoff holes here, unfortunately.
Nevertheless, I do believe we’ll see an actual winner in this one.
Winner | Odds |
---|---|
Europe By 4 to 6 | +700 |
USA By 4 to 6 | +333 |
USA By 7 or more | +375 |
Europe By 7 or More | +1600 |
Tie | +1200 |
USA By 1 To 3 | +280 |
Europe By 1 to 3 | +400 |
