Welcome back to another night of NBA props on Monday, November 1, 2021. In this article, I will identify my best NBA prop bets tonight to start off the week.
Friday was a profitable night, with James Harden and LaMelo Ball, coming through on their respective prop bets. However, Ivica Zubac came just short of exceeding 7.5 rebounds. Last week we started off the NBA articles, and there were two different 3-0 nights and another 2-1 showing, so we have no choice but to keep the good times rolling!
Let’s take a look and see where the value is and which NBA betting sites are offering the best NBA odds.
Best NBA Player Props Today (11/1/21)
Michael Porter Jr (Denver Nuggets) – Over 15.5 Points, -105
Porter hasn’t exceeded 15.5 points yet this season, but this is a perfect time to believe he’ll get back on the good foot tonight. For one, Porter has played 39 and 35 minutes in games over the last week; two of his previous three games were under 30 minutes. In addition, there’s a great history of success against the Grizzlies, with 20+ point games in three straight meetings. Porter is too good of a player to be held down this long, so we should expect him to score a season-high in points tonight.
Clint Capela (Atlanta Hawks) – Over 11.5 Rebounds, +100
Capela has exceeded 11.5 rebounds in four of his six games this season. His presence will certainly be needed against an improved Washington Wizards team that made a few moves in the offseason. In fact, the Wizards have the ninth-best rebounding efficiency in the NBA already this season. The key here is Capela actually playing enough minutes. Interestingly enough, Capela has exceeded 11.5 rebounds against the Wizards in five straight meetings when getting at least 30 minutes.
D’Angelo Russell (Minnesota Timberwolves) – Under 6.5 Assists, +120
Russell and the Timberwolves have a seemingly easy matchup against the Orlando Magic tonight, but we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. While the Magic have a 1-6 record, their last three losses have all been by single digits. When Orlando is playing its best basketball, defense is usually the key ingredient. It’s worth noting that Russell has only exceeded this 6.5-assist mark in one of his five games this season. In that regard, it was already going to be a struggle, but the Magic should keep things to a minimum.
