Welcome back to another night of NBA props on Thursday, October 28, 2021. In this article, I will identify the three most profitable NBA prop bets to get us some money.
Last night was a knockdown back to reality, winning only one of the three prop bets as opposed to the three I hit the night before. Not to fear, there are some great NBA matchups on the schedule, including the rivalry between the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls being renewed. Let’s take a look and see where the value is and which NBA betting sites are offering the best NBA odds.
Best NBA Player Props Today (10/28/21)
DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls): Under 5.5 Assists, -105
Yet again, we’re getting a good price on the outcome we’ve seen all too many times- DeRozan not passing the basketball. Perhaps, the sportsbooks got all giddy about him dishing out eight assists in each of the last two games. However, those games were against much weaker opponents than he’ll see tonight against the New York Knicks. DeRozan is still averaging 4.4 assists per game early this season, so this is a solid value according to the numbers.
Best Odds – Caesars Sportsbook (-105)
Jakob Poeltl (San Antonio Spurs): Over 8.5 Rebounds
This one will be quick and simple- Poeltl has at least eight rebounds in all four games this season. The odds are just too damn good to pass up on here, especially with Poeltl’s consistency showing up in a big way early on this season. Tonight’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks doesn’t tell us anything one way or the other, considering they rank right in the middle of the NBA in rebounding efficiency. Again, having the combo of Poeltl’s consistency and favorable odds makes this too good to pass up.
Best Odds – Unibet (-113)
Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors): Over 32.5 Points
It’s a huge number to hit, but no other player in the NBA is projected to have more points tonight than Curry (according to our projections). Oddly enough, Curry has only exceeded this mark in one of his first four games this season. He did drop 45 points against the Los Angeles Clippers, so we know the chef is still capable of cooking it up.
Tonight’s matchup against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies has the highest game total (229) by a country mile, and they got walloped by 20 points last night on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers. With the Grizzlies on the back-end of a back-to-back set, we shouldn’t expect their defense to be as effective as usual. Look for Curry to get in a groove early and never look back.
Best Odds – PointsBet (-115)
