Welcome back to another night of NBA prop bets today on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week. In this article, we will look at the following players: Joel Embiid, Zach LaVine & Jrue Holiday.
Best NBA Player Props Today (12/8/21)
Philadelphia 76ers at Charlotte Hornets
Kevin Durant will be under the bright lights on the big stage as the Nets roll into town to face Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. Over the last four games, and in five of six, Durant has scored at least 27 points – just below the mark we’re looking to exceed tonight.
The Mavericks are reeling at the moment, losing seven of their last nine games. If we’re looking for a perennial scoring threat to go in and do some damage, this is the spot we want to pick.
Pick: Joel Embiid – Over 13.5 Rebounds (-106)
Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers
I’m expecting to see a competitive game between the Bulls and Cavaliers tonight, considering the latter of the two is covering an NBA-high 78.3% of games this season. Not to mention, Chicago is covering the third-best rate (68%) in the league.
Zach LaVine is scorching-hot at the moment with back-to-back 30+ point games. In fact, he has scored at least 25 points in each of the games during the Bulls’ current four-game winning streak. If this game does stay close, I’d expect LaVine to have plenty of shot attempts, and maybe even some extra free-throw chances as well.
Pick: Zach LaVine – Over 29.5 Points (+100)
Milwaukee Bucks at Miami Heat
This will be the third meeting between the Bucks and Heat this season, with each team getting a blowout win. Over the last couple of seasons, the teams have been quite familiar with one another playing in the playoffs twice. I don’t expect tonight’s matchup to be a high-scoring one, so I will be taking the under on a couple of different props in this matchup. However, I will limit it to one in this space.
Jrue Holiday has barely been getting over this mark of 6.5 assists in each of his last four games by the skin of his teeth. He is certainly due for an off night against a Miami defense that is looking to get back in rhythm after losing three of four games. Holiday is averaging 6.2 assists per season, so we should expect those numbers to come back down.
Pick: Jrue Holiday – Under 6.5 Assists (+105)
