Welcome back to another night of NBA prop bets today on Thursday, December 9, 2021. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week. In this article, we will look at the following players: Donovan Mitchell, LeBron James and Dejounte Murray
Best NBA Player Props Today (12/9/21)
Utah Jazz (-3) at Philadelphia 76ers – TOTAL: 216.5
Both teams are actually on the back end of a back-to-back set for tonight’s matchup, so I was certainly interested in taking an under on one of the props. However, Caesars has a player/team double that I just couldn’t pass up on at +175.
In this bet, we’ll need Donovan Mitchell to score 25+ points and the Jazz to win outright. I love the odds here, considering he has scored at least 30+ points in each of his last four games. As I mentioned, both teams will be fatigued, but they have both been playing well of late – the Jazz won five straight games while the 76ers have won four of their last five. The two teams met earlier this season, and the Jazz won by 35… yes, 35.
Pick: Donovan Mitchell to Score 25+ Points + Jazz Win (+175)
Los Angeles Lakers (-4) at Memphis Grizzlies
LeBron has cleared tonight’s PRA number in each of his last five games, and he has mostly been getting it done via scoring with 30+ points in four of those instances. If we’re already getting somewhere in the vicinity of 30 points, we’re more than halfway home!
Tonight’s matchup against the Grizzlies is a good one, as they rank 23rd in defensive efficiency. Memphis did hold LeBron to 19 points in the earlier meeting this season (Oct. 24), but he is in a zone right now that he wasn’t back then. Look for him to get his revenge tonight.
Pick: LeBron James – Over 37.5 Points-Rebounds-Assists (-105)
Denver Nuggets at San Antonio Spurs (-2) – TOTAL: 214.5
I love the Spurs tonight as one of my top picks, so it certainly makes sense to take this double-double prop with their point guard Dejounte Murray. The Nuggets are on the back end of a back-to-back set and a stretch of three games in four days and four in six.
Murray should be able to maneuver his way around Denver’s defense in any way that he chooses. Over his last six games, Murray has double-doubled five different times.
Pick: Dejounte Murray to Get a Double-Double (+120)
