Parlay bets are a great
way to switch up your sports betting and combine a few betting picks together
to bump up your payout. In this article, we’ll provide you with our top NBA
parlay bets for Thursday, February 20, 2020. We study the odds, the betting
lines, and the teams, and to give you our recommended parlay bets.
The following
two NBA parlay picks offer a low or medium
payout. Our low payout parlays try to minimize risk and odds start near +200 or
higher in an effort to double our stake. Likewise, our medium parlays offer
higher payouts with higher odds, but higher odds mean a smaller chance of
winning.
In other words,
are you after the big payout or more consistent wins?
Low-Risk NBA Parlay Bet
Parlay Odds: +172
$20 risk: $54.50 payout
This NBA parlay bet
focuses on winning your stake back and then some. This parlay is for the bettor
who prefers low risk/low yield parlay bets. Remember the saying “slow and
steady wins the race?” Well, this parlay bet won’t set the world alight, but
it’s your best chance of beating the NJ
sportsbooks.
7:00 p.m. EST – Milwaukee Bucks (ML: -1000) at Detroit
Pistons
The Bucks haven’t done a great job of covering the spread as
a double-digit favorite on the road, going 3-4 ATS in that situation. However,
we’ll just need them to win outright, because we’re taking Milwaukee on the
money line. It’s the first game out of the All-Star break, so perhaps the Bucks
could be a bit rusty. Nevertheless, they should easily get this win against the
Pistons.
8:00 p.m. EST – Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers (ML:
-345)
Luckily for the 76ers, they’ll be playing at home. That has
been a much more friendly place at home, going 25-2 SU (best in the NBA), as
opposed to 9-19 SU on the road. The Nets do have a knack for making these games
interesting with the 76ers, but this is a team that feels like they’re ready to
make a big run toward the playoffs. We’re just looking for Philly to get the
outright win for the sake of the parlay.
10:00 p.m. EST – Memphis Grizzlies (ML: -113) at
Sacramento Kings
The Grizzlies haven’t been favored that often, but when they
are it has been a profitable endeavor. Memphis is an astonishing 13-3 SU/12-4
ATS in that situation. Tonight, the Grizz will be taking on a much-improved Kings
team. However, Sacramento has not been good on extended rest (2-4 days) this
season, going 4-9 SU.
Medium-Risk NBA Parlay Bet
Parlay Odds: +345
$20
risk: $88.93 payout
This parlay bet focuses on winning your stake back and then
some. This NBA parlay bet is for the bettor who prefers an evenly balanced
payout/risk ratio. The bettor who wants a decent payout, but is not reckless
with their parlay picks.
7:30 p.m. EST – Miami Heat -6.5 (-110) at Atlanta Hawks
This will be the fourth and final meeting between the teams
this season, with the Heat winning all three by at least nine points. Even
historically, this has been a fantastic matchup in Miami’s favor against Atlanta’s
Trae Young. In fact, Young has only averaged 16.7 points and 7.7 assists in six
career games against the Heat. If Miami continues on with that lockdown defense
on Young, Atlanta won’t stand a chance in this game.
8:10 p.m. EST – Charlotte Hornets +5 (-110) at Chicago
Bulls
This has been a solid matchup between the Bulls and Hornets, with two of the first three meetings being decided by one point – Charlotte won the other game by 10. While both sides are probably looking at another season without the playoffs, these teams seem to match up well against one another. We don’t have a particular favorite team to play in this game, but we’ll certainly take the points.
10:30 p.m. EST – Houston Rockets (ML: -500) at Golden
State Warriors
The Warriors actually defeated the Rockets outright on Christmas Day, so there’s quite a bit of payback to be had here. Houston got a jolt of energy by going to this exciting small-ball lineup and got key wins against LA (Lakers) and Boston. What’s interesting is that the total has gone under in all four of those Rockets’ games since going to small-ball. However, the totals in those games have been extremely high. We’ll just keep it simple and go with the Rockets on the money line. James Harden and Russell Westbrook got our backs.
