Parlay bets are a great
way to switch up your sports betting and combine a few betting picks together
to bump up your payout. In this article, we’ll provide you with our top NBA
parlay bets for Thursday, February 6, 2020. We study the odds, the betting lines,
and the teams, and to give you our recommended parlay bets.
The following two NBA parlay picks offer a low or medium
payout. Our low payout parlays try to minimize risk and odds start near +200 or
higher in an effort to double our stake. Likewise, our medium parlays offer
higher payouts with higher odds, but higher odds mean a smaller chance of
winning.
In other words,
are you after the big payout or more consistent wins?
Low-Risk NBA Parlay Bet
Parlay Odds: +210
$20 risk: $62.00 payout
This NBA parlay bet
focuses on winning your stake back and then some. This parlay is for the bettor
who prefers low risk/low yield parlay bets. Remember the saying “slow and
steady wins the race?” Well, this parlay bet won’t set the world alight, but
it’s your best chance of beating the NJ
sportsbooks.
8:00 p.m. EST – Philadelphia 76ers at Milwaukee Bucks (ML:
-455)
In the first meeting between the teams, the 76ers throttled
the Bucks in front of the whole country on Christmas Day. Now, it’s the Bucks
turn to get some revenge on TNT – not quite the Christmas Day audience, but it’s
just a step below.
Because of the apparent revenge incoming, Philly finds itself
as the largest underdog of the season – and, of course, that’s not a good
thing. As an underdog, the 76ers are 4-11 SU/6-8-1 ATS. Just a couple of weeks
ago, we were talking about Philly being the largest underdog of the season
(+6.5 at Toronto) and they did not cover that number.
We like the Bucks to roll heavy in this one and cover the massive nine-point spread. As a single-digit favorite, they’re 6-1 SU/ATS in those last seven situations. If Milwaukee wins tonight, it’ll become just the sixth team in NBA history to have 43 wins in the first 50 games of a season.
8:00 p.m. EST – New Orleans Pelicans (ML: -186) at Chicago
Bulls
Prior to getting rolled up in the second half by the Bucks in their last game, the Pelicans were playing some solid basketball. There are solid trends that should help their road to victory in this game. Earlier this season, the Pelicans defeated the Bulls by the score of 123-108.
New Orleans hasn’t even been favored a ton, but the results
have been better in certain areas – especially when favored by -3 or more. In that
scenario, the Pelicans are 7-3 SU/ATS. And even better, they’re 3-1 SU/ATS as a
road favorite. On the other hand, the Bulls have been a terrible home underdog.
In that scenario, they’re 1-9 SU/3-7 ATS.
10:00 p.m. EST – San Antonio Spurs at Portland Trail Blazers
(ML: -155)
These two teams have split the season series, with the games
decided by three and five points, respectively. In this matchup, we see things
going in a different direction.
Portland has been playing much better ball of late, winning five
of the last seven games. This is also the third leg of the Spurs’ annual rodeo road
trip, where they get kicked out of their own arena for about 2-3 weeks because
of the rodeo; their next home game isn’t until Feb. 26. The Spurs are no longer
this team that plays fantastic defense; now, it’s about running and gunning. That’s
not something that is going to work out against Damian Lillard & Co.
Medium-Risk NBA Parlay Bet
Parlay Odds: +631
$20 risk: $146.16 payout
This parlay bet focuses on winning your stake back and then
some. This NBA parlay bet is for the bettor who prefers an evenly balanced
payout/risk ratio. The bettor who wants a decent payout, but is not reckless
with their parlay picks.
7:30 p.m. EST – Orlando Magic at New York Knicks (ML:
+123)
The Magic have struggled on the back-end of B2Bs, going 1-7
ATS/2-4-2 ATS. In fact, they’ve lost their last five in that scenario by an
average of 16.5 points per game. Although tonight’s opponent is usually an easy
target, we feel like Orlando could run into a trouble spot here.
Of course, a lot of this depends on what the Knicks do at
the trade deadline. If they make a series of moves that drastically alter the
roster, we can pull the plug and just take the Magic ATS. For now, though, we’ll
assume New York doesn’t make any of those drastic moves and finds a way to win
this game outright.
10:30 p.m. EST – Houston Rockets (ML: +215) at Los
Angeles Lakers
This is a pretty interesting matchup that could be won
outright by the Rockets. Certainly, missing Clint Capela will hurt against a lengthy
Lakers team, but they could run this team out of the gym on the fast break. We
do understand this is more of a longshot play, but we’re trying to get the most
bang for our buck on this parlay. In our opinion, these are some of the most
favorable odds for an upset.
