Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA player prop bets on Monday, January 10, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
In this article, we will look at the following players: Domantas Sabonis, RJ Barrett & Kyrie Irving.
Best NBA Player Props Today (1/10/22)
Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics
Player Prop Pick: Domantas Sabonis – Over 12.5 Rebounds (-110)
The Celtics rank right in the middle of the league in terms of rebounding rate, and this is a matchup where Sabonis can get held in check. Unfortunately, Boston has been keeping Sabonis in check on the glass, only allowing him to exceed this number of 12.5 rebounds once in his 15 career meetings against them.
It is striking that Sabonis has such a terrible history on the glass against the Celtics. Look for him to struggle once again, only exceeding the mark of 12.5 rebounds once over the last four games.
San Antonio Spurs at New York Knicks
Player Prop Pick: RJ Barrett – Under 2.5 Assists (+110)
Barrett has not been looking to dish the rock much in recent games, only maxing out at three assists in six of his last seven games. In tonight’s matchup against the Spurs, Barrett should be looking to score the rock more, rather than dishing it off to his teammates.
Both Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier are listed as questionable for tonight’s game. Should either of them miss this one, I would like Barrett’s chances more to fall under this mark. If those guys are missing, Barrett will be forced to take more shots and, as a result, have fewer assists.
Brooklyn Nets at Portland Trail Blazers
Player Prop Pick: Kyrie Irving – Over 19.5 Points (-110)
It’s a Nets road game, and that means Kyrie is actually able to play basketball! The latest act of the circus fittingly makes its way into Portland, where the Trail Blazers’ porous defense is awaiting Kyrie and the Nets.
Kyrie has only played one game this season, scoring 22 points in 32 minutes on 9-for-17 shooting. Look for Kyrie to get his fair share of shots again, considering he doesn’t get to take any at home.
