The odds really stuck out to me, considering the way Portis has been playing of late. He has been able to notch three double-doubles in three of the last five games, and that’s with 10+ rebounds in four of them.
Portis was only able to score five points in his last game. However, this will likely be a very up-tempo pace in Milwaukee tonight with the Warriors in town. Prior to that five-point output last game, Portis scored 19 and 25 in his previous two contests.

NBA Player Prop: Patrick Beverley – Over 4.5 Assists (-105)
I’m sure we’ll see plenty of Beverley on the court trying to slow down Ja Morant. As a result of being more focused on the defensive end, I still feel like Beverley can get over this number of 4.5 assists.
We’re getting a nice discount of Beverley’s number of 4.5 assists, considering he averages 5.1 per game on the season. In addition, he has exceeded the 4.5-mark in five of his last six games.
Portland Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets
NBA Player Prop: Nikola Jokic – Over 12.5 Rebounds (-125)
The Nuggets are huge 10.5-point favorites tonight at home against the Trail Blazers. This means that Jokic should be pulling down plenty of rebounds in this one.
Jokic has been an absolute monster on the glass in the month of January so far, averaging 14.8 on the month – and that’s with closing out December on totals of 21, 22 and 19.
