Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA player prop bets on Martin Luther King Day – Monday, January 17, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we will look at Giannis Antetokounmpo, Devin Booker & Donovan Mitchell, who are showing the best value in the NBA player prop bets markets.
Best NBA Player Props Today (1/17/22)
Milwaukee Bucks at Atlanta Hawks
NBA Player Prop: Giannis Antetokounmpo – Over 30.5 Points (-118)
This has been a profitable matchup for Giannis in the past, with 26+ points in seven of his last meetings with the Hawks. Things won’t get any easier for Atlanta, considering it traded away Cam Reddish, who is at least a lengthier body that can at least stay in front of Giannis.
Antetokounmpo recently had a streak of games with at least 30+ points snapped recently, but he has followed that up with back-to-back 30-point performances. Atlanta’s defense is one of the weakest in the NBA, so Giannis should have no problem racking up the points tonight.
Phoenix Suns at San Antonio Spurs
NBA Player Prop: Devin Booker – Over 25.5 Points (+100)
Booker has exceeded this mark of 25.5 points in three of his last four games, most of which came against lesser opponents- just like he’ll see tonight. The Spurs rank 20th in defensive efficiency, so this is a great chance for him to get himself on the scoreboard quite a bit tonight.
In his last six meetings against the Spurs, Booker has exceeded tonight’s mark of 25.5 points four different times. In fact, Booker dropped 30+ against San Antonio in three of those six meetings.
Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Lakers
NBA Player Prop: Donovan Mitchell – Over 27.5 Points (-112)
Mitchell has had a mixed bag of performances in recent games, scoring as much as 30 points in half of them and barely making it to 20 in others. However, tonight’s matchup against the slower and older Lakers should be one that he flies around.
Mitchell’s last performance against the Lakers didn’t go so well, as he only dropped 13 points over 31 minutes. Although, that was last season, and the Lakers have gotten another year older- while even adding more older players. Mitchell does have 30+ in three of his last four games.
