Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Friday, January 21, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we will look at three players on the slate — Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo & Nikola Jokic — and see who is showing the best value in the NBA player prop bets markets.
Best NBA Player Props Today (1/21/22)
Los Angeles Clippers at Philadelphia 76ers
NBA Player Prop: Joel Embiid – Over 30.5 Points (-130)
At this point, who is going to stop Joel Embiid? I’m not sure anyone would be willing to step up to the front of the line, and centers have been doing absolute damage against the Clippers in recent games. That includes Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, who we could compare to Embiid in some ways. Jokic put up some video-game-like numbers against the Clippers, so we should expect Embiid to do the same.
The Embiid MVP talks are starting to kick into high gear, so that added motivation should have him put up yet another epic performance.
Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks
NBA Player Prop: Giannis Antetokounmpo – Over 30.5 Points (-112)
The Bucks are massive 10.5-point favorites tonight against the beaten and battered Bulls, who will be missing some key players like Zach LaVine. I’ll take the over on 30.5 points because I just don’t see any way that Chicago’s defense will be able to slow Giannis down.
Giannis has scored 30+ points in all but two of his games during the month of January- the two misnomers were 26 and 27 points. Good luck to the Bulls in trying to stop The Greek Freak tonight, because they’re going to need it. Chicago hasn’t faced Giannis and Milwaukee yet this season, so this should be a rude awakening for them.
Memphis Grizzlies at Denver Nuggets
NBA Player Prop: Nikola Jokic – Over 8.5 Assists (+100)
Jokic assists are turning into my favorite prop bet on the board in recent weeks. After all, he is basically playing some sort of large point guard while Jamal Murray continues to heal from his injury.
Nevertheless, Jokic has just been going crazy in general of late. He now has 10+ assists in each of his last three games, truly setting the tempo for the Nuggets.
