Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Monday, January 24, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we will look at three players on the slate — RJ Barrett, Jonas Valanciunas & Devin Booker — and see who is showing the best value in the NBA player prop bets markets.
Best NBA Player Props Today (1/24/22)
New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers
NBA Player Prop: RJ Barrett – Over 19.5 Points (-110)
Barrett had a huge game before all of the football started on Sunday, scoring 28 points on 9-for-24 shooting. He did go a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line, which inflated his day just a bit.
Tonight’s matchup against the Cavaliers won’t be an easy one, and Barrett really struggled against them in the first meeting back on Nov. 11. He only scored six points in that game, so there should certainly be some added motivation in this one. Cavs center Jarrett Allen will be there waiting for him at the hole all night, meaning that Barrett will probably take more shots from the perimeter. If Barrett can get to the bucket and get fouled, that will up the optimism quite a bit.
Indiana Pacers at New Orleans Pelicans
NBA Player Prop: Jonas Valanciunas – Over 13.5 Rebounds (-115)
Valanciunas has been a monster on the glass, grabbing 10+ rebounds in seven of his last eight games. This has been one of the best players on the boards, averaging 12 rebounds per game this season. The number of 13.5 is a bit inflated, but there is plenty of reasoning to be optimistic in this one.
Tonight’s matchup against the Pacers is about as middle of the road as it gets. However, Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner will both be out for the Pacers, making things that much easier. In fact, Indy will be missing quite a few players and Caris LeVert is listed as questionable, so we should expect to see more missed shots.
Utah Jazz at Phoenix Suns
NBA Player Prop: Devin Booker – Over 27.5 Points (-105)
This should wind up being the game of the night, as the Jazz make the short trip to face the Suns. Booker is coming off one of his worst games of the season, only scoring 11 points on 5-for-23 shooting (0-for-6 from 3PT). Shooters like Booker don’t stay too cold for long, so I would expect him to come out firing tonight.
Monday’s matchup against the Jazz won’t be easy, considering the Jazz rank 10th in defensive efficiency. Dating back to last season, Booker has scorched Utah in each of his last two games and even had a 59-point performance against them in 2019.
