Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Thursday, January 27, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, there are only two games on the slate — Los Angeles Lakers at Philadelphia 76ers & Minnesota Timberwolves at Golden State Warriors. From these games, we’ll take a look and see who is showing the best value in the NBA player prop bets markets.
Best NBA Props Today (1/27/22)
Los Angeles Lakers at Philadelphia 76ers
NBA Prop: Russell Westbrook – Double-Double (+110)
Believe it or not, Westbrook has only achieved this feat of getting a double-double three times in the month of January. However, tonight’s matchup against the 76ers is a primetime battle and that should have everyone ratcheted up a notch or two.
Honestly, Westbrook has been quite close to getting a double-double at nearly every step of the way in January. This will be an all-hands-on-deck effort against Philly and its star player looking to have another big game.
NBA Prop: Joel Embiid – Over 33.5 Points (-120)
That aforementioned star player, Embiid, is on a run like we’ve never seen before. And yes, I’ll keep saying, put some stock in the 76ers’ center to win MVP.
Embiid has scored at least 38 points in each of his last four games, which seems like an absolute dream scenario. Sure, the Lakers have some big bodies that can try to deter Embiid, but they’re also old and lazy. Embiid will take full advantage of that and have another award-winning performance.
Minnesota Timberwolves at Golden State Warriors
NBA Prop: Karl-Anthony Towns – Over 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)
This is right on-par for Towns’ PRA average this season (right around 36), so we’re not getting any sort of discount on the number. However, the Warriors will be without Draymond Green and James Wiseman once again, giving Towns a much easier path to success.
Towns is coming off a massive 17-rebound performance on Thursday against the Trail Blazers. That’s great news, considering Towns has grabbed at least 11 rebounds in each of his last 11 games against the Warriors.
NBA Prop: Klay Thompson – Over 2.5 Made 3-Pointers (-110)
Thompson has three made 3-pointers in three of his last four games. As he comes back from the ACL injury, Thompson has been trying to get acclimated to the Warriors’ offense once again. He has only maxed out at three made 3-pointers in a game this season, but that limited time could be coming to an end.
In Thompson’s last game, he played a season-high 26 minutes in a blowout win against the Mavericks. It also marked his best 3-point shooting percentage (60%) in a game this season.
