Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA player prop bets on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
In this article, we will look at the following players: Miles Bridges, Kyrie Irving & Joel Embiid.
Best NBA Player Props Today (1/5/22)
Detroit Pistons at Charlotte Hornets
Player Prop Pick: Miles Bridges – Over 7.5 Rebounds (+105)
Bridges had some big rebounding games recently, hitting double-digits in two of the last four.
This has been a profitable matchup for the Hornets, winning each of the last 13 (10-3 ATS) against the Pistons. In addition, 10 of the last 11 Hornets-Pistons games have gone under the total. With all of that being said, there should be plenty of rebounding opportunities against a Detroit team that has the third-worst rebounding rate in the NBA.
Brooklyn Nets at Indiana Pacers
Player Prop Pick: Kyrie Irving – Over 19.5 Points (-120)
Finally, we’ll see Kyrie back on the hardwood! The whole saga about him being allowed to play outside of NYC only is absolutely ridiculous, but it is what we’re dealing with in the world nowadays.
It will certainly be interesting to see how Kyrie integrates back into the Nets offense. Things have been a little different without him in the lineup, so there could be a little bit of a learning curve. At the end of the day, Kyrie will do Kyrie and put up enough shots to score 20 points.
Philadelphia 76ers at Orlando Magic
Player Prop Pick: Joel Embiid – To Have: 35+ Points, 12+ Rebounds, 6+ Assists (+1400)
Yeah, why not? I’ll take a shot here. The 76ers are massive nine-point favorites, giving Embiid more optimism that he’ll have a dominant night. In fact, Philly has beaten Orlando in each of the last five meetings, and Orlando is the worst home team in the NBA.
Embiid is coming off a triple-double performance against the Houston Rockets on Monday, finishing with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. He’ll need to add in just a few more points in order to make things work this time around, but the Magic should be more than capable of allowing more than enough points.
