Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Friday, December 17, 2021. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week. In this article, we will look at the following players: Nikola Jokic, Brandon Ingram & Jusuf Nurkic.
Best NBA Player Props Today (12/17/21)
Denver Nuggets at Atlanta Hawks
Player Prop Pick: Nikola Jokic – Over 8.5 Assists (+110)
This will be a fun matchup between the Hawks and Nuggets down in the ATL tonight. Two of the biggest NBA superstars, albeit of much different heights – Trae Young and Nikola Jokic – will look to dazzle the crowd with all sorts of heroic entertainment.
The one prop bet that stood out to me was Jokic going over 8.5 assists with +110 odds to boot. Jokic actually has 8+ assists in each of his last six games, so look for him to continue distributing the basketball. This is a tougher-than-usual matchup for him with Clint Capela but pulling him out of the paint could do wonder for the Nuggets tonight.
Milwaukee Bucks at New Orleans Pelicans
Player Prop Pick: Brandon Ingram – Over 23.5 Points (-105)
Brandon Ingram is starting to get back on the good foot after a less-than-productive month of November. Ingram only averaged 19 points per game in that month but has come back strong in December with an average of 28 points per game. In fact, Ingram has exceeded this mark of 23.5 points in each of his last three games.
Of course, this matchup against the Bucks isn’t one that we’re jumping up and down for. However, Milwaukee is playing its fourth game in six days and even has a game tomorrow night to prepare for.
Charlotte Hornets at Portland Trail Blazers
Player Prop Pick: Jusuf Nurkic – Over 12.5 Rebounds (+105)
Jusuf Nurkic has pulled down 12+ rebounds in three of his last four games. Throughout the course of the season, he has admittedly been inconsistent in putting up numbers. Nurkic is averaging just over 10 boards per game, but tonight’s matchup could get him over the top.
The Hornets rank dead last in rebounding rate this season, so look for Nurkic to take advantage of a team that is weak down low.
