Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Monday, December 20, 2021. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week. In this article, we will look at the following players: Rudy Gobert, Steven Adams & Stephen Curry.
Best NBA Player Props Today (12/20/21)
Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies
Player Prop Pick: Steven Adams – Over 10.5 Rebounds (+100)
I love a good revenge narrative as much as the next guy, so it would make sense to see former OKC Thunder great Steven Adams go wild on the boards tonight. In fact, Adams has at least nine rebounds in each of his last three games. It also helps that OKC ranks fourth-worst in rebounding rate this season.
Adams certainly doesn’t have any animosity towards the OKC organization. However, it’s still fun to do well against a team you called home for so long. Adams must have known this matchup was upcoming, considering his surge on the glass in recent games.
Charlotte Hornets at Utah Jazz
Player Prop Pick: Rudy Gobert – Over 15.5 Rebounds (-110)
Rudy Gobert has been an absolutely dominant force on the glass, grabbing 14+ rebounds in four of his last five games. In fact, his only misnomer in that stretch was 11, and that was because the Jazz won by 25 points. Charlotte ranks dead-last in the NBA for rebounding rate, so Gobert should have no problem doing what he wants inside against this team.
With the Jazz listed as huge favorites, you would have to imagine this is a game where the Hornets struggle on offense. If that’s the case, Gobert will have every chance in the world to maybe even grab 20 tonight!
Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors
Player Prop Pick: Stephen Curry – Over 32.5 Points (+100)
Of course, the sportsbooks are teasing us on this bet. However, I do believe that Stephen Curry can exceed this mark of 32.5 points in this matchup against the Kings, who rank fourth-worst in defensive efficiency. It feels like I take the over on Curry points almost every night, but the guy deserves that type of clout. Interestingly enough, Curry hasn’t exceeded 32.5 points once in the month of December, so wouldn’t tonight be the perfect time to do so?
It is worth noting that Curry has at least 27 points in each of his last six meetings with the Kings. He has also dropped 30+ in five of the last six.
