Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. In this article, I will identify my best NBA player props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week. In this article, we will look at the following players: Saddiq Bey, Kyle Lowry & Brandon Ingram.
Best NBA Player Props Today (12/21/21)
Detroit Pistons at New York Knicks
Player Prop Pick: Saddiq Bey – Over 5.5 Rebounds (+110)
It’s not a stat-based play, but Bey is playing too many minutes in recent games to not come down with six rebounds tonight. Bey has played at least 36 minutes in each of his last three contests, and he did have 10 rebounds in one of those; in the other two games, he pulled down four in each of them.
The Knicks are one of the best physical teams in the NBA, so Bey’s presence will certainly be needed down low. Look for him to help out the Pistons as much as he can on the glass, and the +110 odds aren’t too bad either.
Indiana Pacers at Miami Heat
Player Prop Pick: Kyle Lowry – Under 9.5 Assists (-112)
Lowry usually has a ridiculously high prop number for assists, so he’s a good player to pick on these unders with. He does have a double-digit number of assists in each of his last two games, but he hasn’t hit three in a row all season.
It might make sense for him to cool out here before Christmas in a matchup against the Pacers, who haven’t played a game in four days. This is usually an intense rivalry, so I do like the under on the game total. If that all comes to fruition, Lowry won’t have as many assist opportunities.
Portland Trail Blazers at New Orleans Hornets
Player Prop Pick: Brandon Ingram – Over 24.5 Points (+100)
I’m going right back to the well with Ingram, who just barely missed this prop number in his last game. Not to worry, that was a tough matchup against a stingy Bucks defense that the Pelicans actually won in overtime.
Prior to that game, Ingram was rocking and rolling with three straight games of 26+ points. His 22 the other night wasn’t a huge knockdown in the wrong direction, but he’ll be fine in this much easier matchup against the Trail Blazers.
