Welcome back to another preview of the best NBA prop bets on Thursday, February 3, 2022. In this article, I will identify my best NBA props tonight to make a maximum profit and get us some more money to get going this week.
Tonight, we’ll take a look at a couple of team totals (Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers) and an individual prop bet on DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls.
Best NBA Props Today (2/3/22)
Phoenix Suns at Atlanta Hawks
NBA Prop: Hawks Team Total – Over 111.5 Points (-120)
Tonight’s Suns-Hawks matchup will likely wind up being the game of the night. We’ve got two of the best point guards in the NBA going toe-to-toe, as Chris Paul and Trae Young will look to keep things moving up and down the court.
The Hawks have exceeded 111.5 points in eight of their last 10 games, and this marquee matchup against the Suns will have everyone on their A-game. Looking at the betting landscape, we’re seeing nearly all of the bets/money going toward Phoenix tonight. You know me, and I love to zig when they zag. In order to beat the Suns tonight, the Hawks will need to score plenty of points – and win us some money in the process.
Chicago Bulls at Toronto Raptors
NBA Prop: DeMar DeRozan – Over 0.5 Made 3-Pointers (+100)
DeRozan makes his way back to where he started his NBA career. These homecoming games tend to have a bit of nostalgia attached to them where the player will put a little more effort into their performance, or even take a few more chances.
While he’s not much of a 3-point shooter, DeRozan has nailed a 3-pointer now in four straight games – and that comes after he went 11 straight without making one from behind the arc. I love the narrative here, in addition to the even-money odds.
Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers
NBA Prop: Lakers Team Total – Under 108.5 (-110)
With LeBron James listed as doubtful, the Lakers will find themselves up against it this evening against the Clippers. As we all know, LeBron’s absence puts things into a bit of chaos with guys like Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony all looking to get theirs.
As the Clippers start to get some guys back from injury, the defensive numbers are starting to improve. Look for them to be up to the challenge tonight in stopping the Lakers.
