Tuesday’s six-game NBA schedule is loaded with marquee matchups. TNT will handle the national-TV doubleheader, with games featuring the Los Angeles Clippers at Boston Celtics & Phoenix Suns- I’ll cover the latter of these two games below.
It was another 3-1 night on Monday, bringing my season-long record to 34-20-2 ATS (63%). Here are three more NBA free picks to increase your bankroll this evening:
Table of contents
- New York Knicks (-1) at San Antonio Spurs – Total: 215
- Denver Nuggets at Milwaukee Bucks (-7.5) – Total: 234.5
- Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Lakers (-1.5) – Total: 213.5
New York Knicks (-1) at San Antonio Spurs – Total: 215
NYK: 3 games in 4 days, 4 games in 6 days
SA: back-end b2b (vs. BKN yesterday), 3 games in 4 days
Both teams will come sleepwalking into this game, with the Spurs playing their second game in as many nights and a string of three games in four nights. Additionally, the Knicks will be playing their third game in four days and a string that goes back to four in six. Whew, I’m beat.
New York already runs the NBA’s slowest pace and tonight’s scenario for both teams doesn’t add into the optimism of points being scored. Take the under and enjoy this boring game with confidence.
Betting Pick: Under 215 points
Denver Nuggets at Milwaukee Bucks (-7.5) – Total: 234.5
DEN: back-end b2b (@CHI yesterday), 3 games in 4 days (all on road), 4 games in 6 days
MIL: normal rest
-TOTAL: decreased from 236 to 234.5
The Bucks are finally getting back on track, winning five straight games after previously dropping five straight. There’s a distinctive advantage for them tonight, playing a Nuggets team on the back end of a back-to-back set and a 3-in-4 and 4-in-6 stretch that would leave anyone gassed.
This is also a good chance for us to see what Nikola Jokic can do against someone his own size. Giannis Antetokounmpo will certainly be up to the challenge.
Betting Pick: Bucks (-7.5)
Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Lakers (-1.5) – Total: 213.5
PHX: normal rest
LAL: normal rest, front-end b2b (@SAC tomorrow)
The Suns are a perfect 5-0 SU/ATS as a road underdog this season. Admittedly, it’s a bit strange to see them as underdogs in this spot against the Lakers, but I’ll be rolling with it.
Phoenix does have a good amount of size to match up with LA here.
It’s also worth noting that five of the last six Lakers-Suns meetings have gone under the total. With the way the two teams have been playing lately, I feel like that benefits the Suns in this matchup. The Lakers are missing Anthony Davis mightily on both ends of the floor, especially on offense.
Betting Pick: Suns (+1.5)
