Tonight, on Friday 6/25/21, it’s Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks (8:30 p.m. EST on TNT), the only game on the NBA Schedule. The Hawks surprisingly took Game 1, and now the Bucks will look to put a spirited effort to avoid heading to ATL down 0-2.
I lost last night with the Suns, bringing my playoffs record to 24-27-1 ATS after a 57% regular season. Here is another free NBA betting pick to take us right into the weekend.
Atlanta Hawks at Milwaukee Bucks (-7.5) – Total: 226
Looking at the betting landscape, there’s a huge difference in where the action is heading on both the spread and total. First, we’re seeing 75% of the bets placed on the Hawks while 60% of the money wagered is on the Bucks. In addition, the number of bets placed right around 50-50 while 85% of the money is on the under.
This is the exact same situation we saw in Game 1, with Atlanta getting all the public attention. I will go right back to Milwaukee, especially since it’s the home team. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton have quite the task ahead of them, trying to set the tone and make sure Atlanta doesn’t have a chance in this game.
In all honesty, I can see the Bucks winning this game by 10+. If you have that option on your local sportsbook, you can odds in the range of +130.
Jrue Holiday will have the task of defending Trae Young most of the night. Although, we know that teams have to switch like crazy when Young is running the pick-and-roll threat with the option to Clint Capela. The Milwaukee crowd should be absolutely wild tonight, so let’s not get carried away and follow the Atlanta/public crowd.
Betting Pick: Bucks (-7.5)
