There is only one game on Wednesday’s NBA slate, but we should it expect to be a dandy. The Los Angeles Clippers will look to even up the Western Conference Finals at 3-3 against the Phoenix Suns. This has been a crazy series, so tonight should be yet another great finish.
At the open, online NBA betting sites listed the Suns as -1 favorites. Since then, we have seen some sportsbooks have the Clippers as -1 favorites and even a few pick-ems out there. I’ll dive into the movement a little more below, but it will certainly have an effect on how I approach betting this game.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today
Phoenix Suns – Team Total: Over 107.5 Points
I expect the Suns to win this game quite handedly tonight. Teams that avoid going home in a 3-1 deficit often tend to exert a ton of energy in Game 5 to keep their season alive. And let’s not forget, the Clippers have spent most of these playoffs playing from behind in a series. Tonight, I believe the gas tank finally hits E. The Suns have only exceeded the 107.5-point mark once (in Game 1) in this series, so it’s interesting to see higher odds on the over when that hasn’t been the case.
Los Angeles Clippers – 1st Quarter Moneyline
If the Clippers are going to make a move in this game, I’d expect them to have the momentum and do it early. I have a much better grasp on this series, compared to the Eastern Conference Finals. After all, I nailed the exact game flow in Game 5 based on how the spread looked. I figured LA would be favored by much more in this matchup. However, Phoenix seems like it’s in too good of a spot to pounce later In the game. If you feel the need to get some Clippers’ action, this is the place to do it- early on.
Best NBA Player Props Tonight
DeAndre Ayton – Over 1.5 Assists
I’m going right back to the well, and this time with more conviction. I envision the Suns totally kicking ass tonight, so we could see all sorts of points coming from different sources. This is where my affinity for Ayton assists comes back into play. Remember, Ayton did have three assists in Game 4, so he is certainly capable of doing it. He did average 1.4 assists per game during the regular season.
Paul George – Under 30.5 Points
Tonight, I’m hoping that we get Pandemic P – and not Playoff P. George came through in a big way for the Clippers in Game 5, scoring 41 points to keep them alive. However, in the three games prior to Monday, PG had not eclipsed 30 points. The Suns are a well-coached team, so we should expect them to have a detailed game plan in keeping him off the scoresheet.
